Bathroom Scale Prayer
Dear Lord I’m not complaining,
At least I hope not much,
But You do modern miracles
With just a simple touch.

You’ve moved great mountains, parted seas,
So I would like to ask
If you could grant me one more thing;
It’s such an easy task.
I’d be forever grateful
And my heart would shout with glee
If you’d perform a miracle
And melt ten pounds off me!!
