Selling Wells

The Chinese bought a well from the British. 

The next day while on the way to the market, he met an Englishman who told him: 

“Brother, I have sold the well to you but I have not sold the water, if you use that water, you have to pay for it.” 

The Chinese replied: “Oh, yes, I plan to go to your place and ask you to empty the water and if you don’t, then you will have to pay me rent for the use of  your ‘water container’. “
