Bring Tomatoes
A teacher tells his students to bring some tomatoes with a plastic bag to school. The teacher then tells the students to put the name of the person they hate on a tomato, one name per tomato.
On the appointed day the students bring their tomatoes back to the classroom according to the teacher’s orders.
Some brought 2, some brought 3, and one child even brought 10 units according to the number of people who were hated in their lives. The teacher then tells each child to take the tomato everywhere they go for a week. After 3 days the tomatoes begin to rot, slowly causing an unpleasant odor. Students carrying the tomatoes began to complain, because they felt heavy and the stench began to sting.
After a week his teacher asked his students, how did they feel in this week?
Nearly all students complained about the bad smell of damaged tomatoes, especially those that carried multiple tomatoes.
The teacher then said: “This is similar to what you carry in your heart, when you hate some people. Hate / Envy, make your heart and mind unhealthy and you carry that hatred everywhere … If you can’t stand it with the stench of tomatoes for a week, imagine what happens in your heart due to the hatred that you carry every day for years.”
The heart is like a beautiful garden full of flowers that must be treated at all times, cleaned of unwanted impurities.
