Born In The USA – Poem

We complain about taxes

We complain about who wins the vote

We complain about what they said

Word for word we can quote

We complain we don’t like this

And we complain we don’t like that

But there were wars fought for freedom

Many still in the middle of combat

And because they fight

This fact will always remain

No matter what we say

We have that freedom to complain

All around the whole world, be it ….

East, West, North or South

In many counties they dare not

open their mouth

Be Glad

Be Joyful

Be Proud

What more can I say

I’m So Happy I Was Born
